Customer Rating: Summary: Considering the price... Comment: ...it's not that bad. OK, this version doesn't accept postcodes or street names, you have to upgrade to the Deluxe version. But once you get used to it it does work for town-to-town route planning (which is what it says on the box...). The maps "seem" up to date (yes, the M6 Toll is there) and for the few routes I've tried it makes a bit more sense than my previous version of Mappoint sometimes. For quick and dirty route planning it seems to work even though it is slower than Mappoint. I've seen much worse for more money! Customer Rating: Summary: So basic its not worth it! Comment: I purchased this to replace mapping software that is seven years old, what with new roads and all that. I make many journeys to visit clients and like to punch in their postcode and see exactly where they are. You cannot do this with this software. Infact you have to know where you wish to start and finish before you can input departure and destination markers to figure out a route.
I will revert to the old software and use internet based maps to fill in any gaps.
If you want anything remotely useful look elsewhere.
