| Buy it Now. Don't look any further. Ok what can I say! If you are reading this review it means you are in doubt! But trust me this 40 Gig iPod is real winner over all the Mp3( or whatever player) player in the market. It is even better than 3G iPods. First of all if you choose 40Gigs over 20 gig iPod you will be saving a lot. And you get a nice dock which is very essential I would say. It looks even good on the desk. You get double the amount of Hard Disk. which made it bit chunky, but honestly speaking it still smaller than other Portable players in the market. I am not having any problem with the size! The new click wheel is charm to use. Believe me it cant get any easier than that! It takes seconds to scroll thru songs or playlist by it. Total hassle free. And iTune is another great software by Apple. It's easier than drag and drop. iTune will auto sync your iPod as you connect it. Even iPod got Calender, Contacts , Games, Clock and more. Can be treated as PDA as well. It's even can be used as an additional hard disk. You can save save your data and stuff. And the list of features will go even more. Buy it you will love it. | Wow I ordered the iPod from amazon earlier on this year, soon after it came out. It arrived within 2 days, faster than I could have got it on the high street, where everywhere was sold out, and cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Sound quality is excellent, and the rate of data transfer from a computer to ipod by firewire is amazing (around 1 second per song) Even better, itunes found and converted all the songs already on my computer automatically, and finds out the track names for you. Finally, itunes acts as a great music player, a definite improvement on Windows Media Player, as it can run almost anything Definitely well worth having, if only for the status of being able to say you have got one. Buy it! Posted by Jane on 23/11/2004 |
| IPODs I bought a 20GB photo ipod on Saturday...and 2 days on it's going back to the shop. I'm sorry to say it's the biggest load of crap I've had the misfortune to buy. It won't even show the menu. I've tried resetting it, the battery is full and I've formatted it too. Its hopeless and I'm disappointed in this. Truly awful product that I will tell everyone not to waste their money on. The most annoying thing however is that I've imported 300 odd songs to my laptop which took a long time and it turns out it was a waste of my time. DON'T BUY AN IPOD!!! | IPODs In reply to the DON\'T BUY AN POD!!1 post : Ipods are the biggest selling mp3 player, so popular in fact that they\'re created their own culture, given name to Podcasting and spawned the whole mp3 industry. They\'re huge! Posted by Gary on 30/8/2005 |
